askblue ends 2025 with €22 million in revenue and a new brand

The Portuguese consultancy firm consolidated its strategic offerings and strengthened its presence in the public administration sector and the Brazilian market. The company launched a new Energy, Environment & Sustainability service offering, focused on sustainability and decarbonisation.

Lisbon, 4 March 2026 – askblue, a Portuguese technology and business consulting company, closed 2025 with a turnover of €22 million, in a year that was marked by the consolidation of its structure, strengthening of its brand and acquisition of new strategic clients.

“In 2025, we invested in the development of new skills, delivery methodologies, career plans and expansion of our customer base, both in Portugal and in the international market. In this segment, we highlight the growth in Brazil, where we have created a solid pipeline of opportunities,” says askblue CEO Pedro Nicolau.

In terms of its offering, askblue launched its Quality & Testing service, strengthening its portfolio of technological solutions, and consolidated its Data & Analytics area, where it gained new references throughout the year. At the same time, it developed skills based on technologies supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, which it internally designated as Blue Intelligence, preparing differentiated solutions aligned with the current challenges faced by organisations. The company wants to continue to develop and promote solutions and proofs of concept for the use of AI, which can be integrated into customer journeys and presented to the market, reinforcing its position as an innovative company.

askblue gained several new clients in 2025, typically large organisations, and consolidated its presence in the Public Administration sector by creating a dedicated and specialised team.

The year was also marked by the rebranding of the brand, the launch of the new institutional website, and the creation of the monthly podcast "Blue Corazón", dedicated to innovation topics. The consultancy was also present at several leading events in the technology and finance sector, such as the Banking Forum, One Conference, an international event organised by Outsystems, the Portugal Digital Summit, and Febraban Tech, the latter in Brazil.

The solidarity component has always been present at askblue. In 2025, the foundations were laid for the partnership with APAV - Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (Portuguese Association for Victim Support), announced earlier this year. The signed protocol provides for askblue to make technical and human resources available to APAV at no financial cost. In practical terms, the partnership will translate into: diagnosis, optimisation and redefinition of processes; technological solutions; training and capacity building; and, finally, monitoring and evaluation of the entire project, which provides, for example, for the creation of a new training platform for APAV volunteers.

The year was also marked by the achievement of ISO 20000 certification (IT service management), the renewal of ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 56001 (innovation management). Internally, the technology company invested in the creation of two new business units, Delivery Centre and Public Sector, launched a new performance management model and continued to implement its strategic plan, with a particular focus on the company's growth.

Strategy for 2026

For 2026, Pedro Nicolau states that ‘the goal is to grow and exceed €25 million in turnover, strengthen our presence in international markets, including Brazil, and continue to focus on specialisation by sector of activity’. ‘We want to evolve our offerings and consolidate our position as a partner of reference, differentiating ourselves through quality and innovation,’ emphasises the CEO of askblue.

The company will also launch a new Energy, Environment & Sustainability offering, where it will help its clients define and apply best practices in sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, promoting decentralisation, efficiency and energy autonomy, as well as the digitalisation of energy and environmental resource management.
askblue wants to maintain its focus on specialisation by sector of activity, continuing to evolve its offerings and strengthen its position as a benchmark partner through differentiation and quality.
