We are looking for DevOps Specialist to join our company, in one of our projects, in the banking sector, located in Lisbon.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the DevOps Specialist will be responsible for developing and supporting the companywide DevOps strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the DevOps Specialist will be responsible for developing and supporting the companywide DevOps strategy.
Tasks:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Ensure security best practices are followed across all platform components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering and DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, Artifactory, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker or Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French being a plus.
- Is a plus:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo or ELK stack).
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
- Certification in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
- Hybrid (Twice a week in the office).
