Lisbon, March 18, 2025 - askblue has forecast a turnover of €22.3 million in 2024, a 16% year-over-year increase.
“In 2024, we won ten new clients with enormous relevance and high potential, representing sectors as diverse as finance, banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and public administration. Compared to the previous year, we are talking about more than doubling the number of new clients,” says askblue's CEO, Pedro Nicolau.
Last year, askblue developed two new offers in Data & Analytics and Quality & Testing. “In the case of Data & Analytics, we were able to enter two new clients and open up growth opportunities with others we were already working with,” explains askblue's CEO.
“The focus on the public sector is a recent bet, reinforced from the second half of 2024. Now, we already have a strategic project, which involves the development of a new services portal, which manages the relationship with people,” says Pedro Nicolau.
The company has been improving the scope of its projects in recent years, but there is still room for improvement. “There has been a positive evolution in recent years, but we need to continue to improve to strengthen our capacity for internal and external investment,” notes Pedro Nicolau.
By 2025, askblue aims to exceed a turnover of 26 million euros.
The new projects will require team reinforcement, and several recruitment processes are underway. The aim is to end the year with 500 employees and to finish 2024 with 435.
askblue has developed dozens of projects in international markets and has already opened offices in Brazil and the United Kingdom. However, askblue's CEO believes that “it is essential to diversify relationships with existing partners and clients to accelerate growth”. The renewed corporate image and new website, presented in January, reflect this desire.
“In 2025, we will continue to invest in the askblue brand, so that it has greater visibility and recognition in the market, not only by potential clients, but also by candidates to work with us,” says Pedro Nicolau.
Strategic plan until 2028
With a view to the future, askblue has defined a strategic plan in force until 2028. “To finalize it, we mobilized the heads of the different units and markets to reflect on the medium- and long-term future. This process included discussions on brand positioning, new offers, go-to-market strategies, delivery methodologies, increasing internal efficiency, change management, talent management, and communication. “At this stage, we are already implementing various internal projects, some of them structural, which are essential for fulfilling the strategic plan,” says Pedro Nicolau.
With 12 years of existence, askblue has already developed more than 300 projects worldwide and has a portfolio of half a hundred clients.
