QA Lead

We were born in 2013, and we provide services in the field of information technology.

We are looking for a QA Lead to join our company in one of our projects, in Paço de Arcos (Oeiras).

Tasks:

• Test Planning & Execution:
  Define test plans and strategies for functional, integration, and regression testing;
  Execute manual and automated tests for OutSystems apps, APIs, and integrations.
  • Automation:
  Implement and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API layers;
  Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Quality Standards:
  Create and maintain test case templates, bug reporting formats, and workflows;
  Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration:
  Work with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria;
  Participate in release planning and quality reviews.
  • Metrics & Reporting:
  Track and report key quality metrics (test coverage, defect rates, automation progress).
  • Mentoring:
  Support junior QA team members with guidance on tools, techniques, and processes.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (manual and automated);
• Hands-on experience with OutSystems testing, API testing, and SQL validation;
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and automation frameworks;
• Basic understanding of performance and security testing;
• Good communication and problem-solving skills;
• English full proficiency;
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience;
• ISTQB (Foundation or Advanced Test Manager/Automation Engineer) or equivalent;
• OutSystems certifications (e.g., Associate/Professional for Reactive) preferred;
• Performance/security certifications are a plus;
• Mgmt & Traceability: Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence;
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins;
• UI Automation: Playwright, Cypress;
• Web Functional testing: Katalon ou Playwright ou web functional testing tool;
• Performance testing tool (LoadTest.Core, NBomber);
• Mobile Testing (Appium e Mocha);
• Google Lighthouse;
• Performance: k6, Jmeter;
• Observability: Datadog. AppInsights, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana/Prometheus;
• BDD Framework, AI Mentor Studio and OutSystems tools;
• Experience with OutSystems BDD frameworks and test automation tools (desirable);
• Knowledge of service virtualization and test data management (desirable);
• Exposure to performance tools (JMeter, k6) and security scanning (desirable).

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid (on-site 3x per week)
