We are looking for a Data Engineer/Architects – Databricks to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data platforms using Azure and Databricks.
- Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and AI workloads.
- Migrate legacy on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions to modern cloud architectures.
- Develop robust Lakehouse solutions based on Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Collaborate with AI teams to enable Machine Learning and Generative AI workflows.
- Implement data quality, governance and security best practices.
- Support the implementation of Customer 360 capabilities across multiple business domains.
- Contribute to AI Governance frameworks ensuring compliance, scalability and responsible AI adoption.
- Enable Agentic AI use cases by delivering reliable and well-governed data foundations.
- Partner with Product Development teams to create AI-driven forecasting and cost prediction solutions for new product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital, Data, Finance and Commercial functions.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or equivalent orchestration tools.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for Data Engineering.
- Understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
